Washing Machine Information
The washer and dryers can be found in the basement or 1st floor of housing units.
Our washer and dryers are all coin operated.
- $1.00 to wash
- $1.00 to dry
To measure the detergent please use ¼ cup of soap. Put a small amount to fit your palm. That is roughly 1⁄4 cup. Please do not overfill washer with soap.

Why we use HE (High Efficiency) washing and drying machines
- Uses less water
- Requires HE detergent (High Efficiency), for example: Tide, Gain
- Sensors used to adjust to different loads of laundry
- Higher spin cycle speeds up drying time
Rules for Washing Machine
- Do not open machine while in cycle
- Both the washing machine and dryer use
US currency (Quarters $.25)
Side Note
- If you see soap left on clothes after washing: You may have used too much soap.
- If your clothes are not fully dried after a cycle of drying: You might of overfilled the dryer or check to see if the lint is removed from the lint tray.
